Michela is an outspoken lawyer and animal rights activist, who assists Thom and Richard in all of our federal litigation challenges. She concentrates her trial and appellate practice in Ohio state and federal courts fighting to defend the constitutional rights of animal owners whose pets have been unlawfully seized by governments or by private organizations with police power authority. After living in India during part of her childhood, she returned and received a B.A. from the College of Wooster and a J.D. from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law. Michela advocates in and out of the courtroom for the rights of homeless and abused animals, including her rescue dog, “India”, whose picture fittingly adorns this profile.
