Attorney Jeremy Cohen is the founder of Boston Dog Lawyers.  In 2016 his became the first law firm in Massachusetts dedicated to pets and their owners.    He and his staff have handled 3,000 phone calls from pet owners and pet professionals in need of counsel from around the country.  His case selection involves defending dangerous dogs and dog bite lawsuits, handling pet custody disputes and wrongful pet injury matters.

Boston Dog Lawyers has been featured on local and national television news shows.  Attorney Cohen is a regular guest on WBZ radio in Boston and is a columnist for Simply Pets Magazine.  Both Dogster and Catster featured his work in issues published in 2021.  He has been a guest lecturer at Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine and was a featured speaker at the MA, NY and ABA animal law sections.  Boston Dog Lawyers is currently a subject for a developing reality show and book.  Attorney Cohen is also the Chair of the Ethics Committee for the Association of Professional Dog Trainers.
