Richard Rosenthal and Thom Page were successful in getting the death sentence lifted off of this wonderful dog named, “Luca”. Luca has been so gratefully fostered at a greyhound rescue in New Jersey but very much deserves, needs and would improve even more in a permanent home. On the day Luca was released, and having never met Thom, Thom put Luca in his car and drove 45 minutes to a dog trainer. According to Thom, “Luca never barked but rested his head on the armrest the whole ride, and he licked cornbread chunks from my fingers, after “knowing” me for all of three minutes. Yeah, the town got it right when they declared him to be so vicious he needed to be killed…”
