One of the purposes of The Center for Animal Litigation is to establish and provide a centralized source of information, resources, and assistance concerning animal rights litigation and other related issues.
Consultation Service
In order to support the above purpose, we established a consultation service for an approximately sixty (60) minute phone call with an experienced animal rights attorney, for a nominal fee of $150. If your issue requires further assistance, a referral to a suitable attorney may be provided.
For Matters Occurring in Connecticut or New York
If your matter occurred in Connecticut or New York, prior to arranging the phone call, you are requested to complete the following:
1. Pay the $150 fee. Visit the Payment Page to submit the fee.
2. Thoroughly read, sign, and submit the Limited Scope of Representation Agreement. Visit the Agreement page.
3. A team member at The Center for Animal Litigation will then arrange a date and time that works with both you and the animal rights attorney.
For Matters Occurring Outside of Connecticut and New York
The Center for Animal Litigation is working to build a larger network of animal rights attorneys across the United States to assist in your animal-related issues. If your matter occurred outside of Connecticut or New York, we may still be able to assist you in one of two ways:
1. We may be able to refer you to an animal rights attorney within your state; or
2. We can provide the consultation service if you retain a local attorney to join the call with the animal rights lawyer. Your in-state attorney would need to be present during the call between the animal rights lawyer and yourself.
For matters occurring OUTSIDE of Connecticut and New York, please provide your name, contact information, and location of the matter. Visit the Contact Form here.
We look forward to providing this invaluable service to our companion animal and owner community.
