Our Founder Thom Page posted the following story on Facebook after a touching encounter (literally) with Tres Jolie:
The clipped ear suggested a feral.
No approach to food until we retreat.
Not a sound but to scurry when we appear.
Once trapped and eerily subdued, she remains poised to flee.
Purring on the dinner table is now routine.
Her touch says she feels safe.
With not sound nor movement, I say all is well.
Theirs is a language of the soul, as so too should ours.
